I write with reference to the an article published in your daily on 14th April, 2012 entitled ‘19 Hizb-ut-Tahrir men booked under sedition law, jailed’ written by a reporter, Ashraf Javed. I seek to bring to your attention a highly irresponsible and ill researched news item which has brought disrepute to an otherwise respected paper.

Raid on Weekly Dars of Hizb ut Tahrir in Lahore, more than 15 arrested and sent to jail on Judicial Remand
On 29th March, Government thugs attacked Hizb ut Tahrir weekly Dars in the Model Town area of Lahore and arrested more than 15 people. A case was lodged against them according to the Anti-Terrorism Act, Clause 11-W, and today, 30th March, they were sent to jail on judicial remand.

They have never readied the Muslims of Pakistan for Jihad in a way that Kashmir could really be liberated. Now, they are trying to even get rid of that single day, 5 February, Kashmir Day, officially so as to herd the Ummah into accepting the traitor rulers treason against the Muslims of Kashmir.
