Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan arranged a protest on the day of the arrival of US Special Representative on Pakistan and Afghanistan, Richard Holbrooke. Hizb ut-Tahrir rejects the American policy of occupation of Muslim Lands. It demands the ejection of all colonialist political and military officials from Muslim soil. Hizb ut-Tahrir calls for the immediate re-unification of Afghanistan with Pakistan to strengthen the Muslims against the crusader aggressors.

On Sunday 25 January 2009, around five hundred women attended a segregated gathering in Jelhum about the current political crisis in Pakistan held by Hizb ut-Tahrir Pakistan. The speakers exposed how the sufferings in the society are because of the man-made system that the colonialists established in Pakistan and have supported for decades. The seminar made clear the need for the immediate establishment of the Khilafah and the Fard of establishing it. Imran Yousufzai, Deputy Spokesman of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Pakistan, called the people to work with Hizb ut-Tahrir.

A conference of hundreds was organized by Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan on the subject of “New Leadership, New System” in Karachi on Sunday 19 January 2009. The speakers addressed how Pakistan can escape slavery from America politically and rise to mobilizing the over half billion Muslims of Indian Subcontinent to rule over all of it again as they did for centuries. The conference also addressed the immense material resources that Pakistan possesses and how Islam’s economic system will ensure the Khilafah is a world-leading economic power.
