As July ended and August began, during the monsoon seasons of Pakistan, heavy rains caused rivers and lakes to burst their banks, dams to be overwhelmed by the sheer weight of water, sending great flash floods which swept away the houses, bridges, roads and electricity power lines in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan and Southern Punjab, with Charsadda, Nowshera, Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Swat and Shangla included amongst the worst hit areas.

Khilafah is within your reach, O Muslims, and your time is now
This 28 Rajab, it will have been 89 Islamic hijri years since the Khilafah was destroyed and with it the ruling by the Book of Allah سبحانه وتعالى and the Sunnah of RasulAllah صلى الله عليه و سلم in the world. Since then the problems have the Muslims have not diminished or even remained at the same level, rather they have worsened and multiplied.

The misery that Muslims of Pakistan face of bombings, assassinations and insecurity has now spread from NWFP to Punjab to Sindh province. On 28 December 2009, a Muharram procession in Karachi, Sindh’s capital and Pakistan’s financial capital, was attacked by an explosion, resulting in the death of over forty Muslims and injury to over a hundred more. Then, organized, well-trained gangs struck for many hours, uninterrupted by the government forces.
