On 13th October an ad sponsored by Geo TV network was printed on page
11 of The NEWS International (Lahore edition) about its upcoming plays
for the next quarter. According to the ad Geo TV network would telecast
a drama serial by the name of “Habibi Habiba” from 20th October. In
this ad a man and a woman are shown to be dancing and holding each
other while the text reads:

“Markazi khayal, mabni barqissa Hazrat Yousuf (A.S.)”
(i.e. central theme taken from the story of Hazrat Yousuf (A.S.) )

Delegations of Hizb-ut-Tahrir met Turkish attaché in Karachi and
honorary consulate in Lahore. In Islamabad Hizb-ut-Tahrir’s delegation
was not allowed to go to Turkish embassy, therefore the letter of
protest was sent to Turkish embassy through a courier service. In
Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad the delegations were led by deputy
spokesperson of Hizb-ut-Tahrir in Pakistan Mr. Shahzad Shaikh, member
of Hizb-ut-Tahrir Dr. Iftikhar and deputy spokesperson of
Hizb-ut-Tahrir in Pakistan Mr.Imran Yousuf Zai respectively. The
purpose of these meetings was to protest against Turkish governments
plan to stop political activities of Hizb-ut-Tahrir by declaring it a

missile attacks in Pakistan are carried out with the consent of the

After eight days of kidnapping Jalal Hussain, the intelligence agencies
have still not released him nor brought him in court or even bothered
to inform his family

Just three days ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, the military intelligence agency
kidnapped the member of Hizb ut-Tahrir Jalal Hussain from Peshawar.
Jalal Hussain is a master degree holder in electronics from Peshawar
University, employee in a multinational company and the father of a
baby daughter. He was kidnapped from Khalid Bin Waleed Park, Sadr
Peshawar while he was distributing pamphlets containing the thoughts of
Hizb ut-Tahrir. Until now, neither he is presented in any court nor his
family been informed of his whereabouts. The kidnapping of a highly
