PRESS NOTE
Hizb ut-Tahrir holds demonstrations in major cities denouncing the second publication of insulting cartoons about RasulAllah (SAW)
21st Saffar 1429 AH
28th February 2008 CE
Hizb ut-Tahrir held demonstrations in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad denouncing yet another publication of the insulting cartoons about RasulAllah (saw) in Danish newspapers. The demonstrations were located in Dubai Chawk, Lahore, Tariq Road, Karachi and Sitara market Islamabad. The speakers addressing the demonstrators explained how the kuffar on the one hand attack the Muslims and occupy their lands whilst on the other they attack the belief of the Muslims, of which the latest example is the re-printing of the insulting cartoons. They also said that had the rulers mobilised their forces upon the initial publications of these cartoons, the Danish would not have dared to re-print the cartoons. But the reality is that the Muslim rulers themselves are slaves to the West and because of them the kuffar dare to attack the honour of RasulAllah (saw). They concluded by saying that only the Khilafah will deliver the deserving punishment to those who attack RasulAllah, as it did in the past when it protected the life, wealth and belief of the Muslims.
